Tarot Wayang or the wayang tarot which could be a symbol of a journey into self appraisal, is composed by Ani Sekarningsih, based on the Javanese philosophy which is strongly influenced by Mahabharata and Ramayana mythologies.

She could not claim that she is of full authority of tarot knowledge, but rather willing to participate and share the knowledge in interpreting something useful in day to day life. She set out to clarify the tarot and encourage all who are interested in gaining a better understanding of the values and rhytms that shape our lives to use wayang figures.
Wayang is the Indonesian puppet form used to perform Mahabharata and Ramayana stories to give education to the people about honesty, bravery, self confidence and self appraisal. Wayang performance is normally held all night and very popular in Java and Bali area.
The Tarot deck comes with background colours, the number of the cards, figures, symbols and the keywords which make the cards easy to interprete. Please review the deck cards one by one, and pay attention to the background colours of the suits of cards. Then the symbols, the number of cards and by right combination and interpretation people can understand the keyword of the cards.
